What We Do

Provide free access to bicycles for those in education or training who have to travel long distances.

Children and young people borrow a bike each day from our bicycle libraries to cycle long distances to and from school, college or university.

‘Health and safety’ is of primary importance. We keep the bikes well maintained, and make sure that the children and young people learn to ride safely.

We support the local economy in Kono by buying our bikes in Koidu and employing local mechanics to service and repair them.

Ensure bicycle security by negotiating overnight and weekend storage within townships and educational establishments, and provide free bike locks.
